Nitasha Menon, MD, is a caring OB/GYN at North Atlanta Women's Specialists. She feels privileged to care for women during critical periods in their lives and sees patients at the Johns Creek office in Duluth and the Midtown office in Atlanta, Georgia.

Dr. Menon was born and raised in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. She went to the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (UNC) (GO HEELS!), where she majored in psychology. She then took a few years to work in the area of property management and clinical research. She returned to UNC for medical school and earned her Master's of Public Health during this time. Dr. Ricks completed her obstetrics and gynecology residency, also at UNC.

Dr. Menon fell in love with obstetrics during medical school, and her interests include contraception, weight gain during pregnancy, and minimally invasive surgery. Dr. Ricks is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Dr. Menon has a 100-lb lapdog named Zeus whom she adores. Her first child is due in July 2020 – and she’s excited to deliver at Northside Hospital! In her free time, she loves to work out, travel, and spend time with family and friends.
